The Cody Hotel

This hotel was just perfect. Our room was clean and comfortable, the hotel itself is clean and beautiful. The service was majorly above par. We didn’t feel like a burden to the front desk, there was fresh baked cookies put out the night we checked in. We were able to rent movies for no additional charge. The breakfast was delicious and had a good variety. The next time my husband and I go to Cody we will definitely be staying here again and I will recommend it to anyone I know. The location is excellent for anywhere we wanted to go and explore. Just a great experience overall!

Love the location. The website States great view of the mountains so when I checked in I made sure to request a room with a great My sister and I got to our room and we had a view of a side of a hill and some telephone wire LOL. The beds were comfortable the room's a little bit old but clean and the location is great. However at the price I have to score low it was not worth the money . They do have a pool that was open 24 hours however we didn't get the chance to use it.

Having stayed at The Cody Hotel in the past, and having really enjoyed it, my family was well aware that this hotel is a beautiful relic and kind of a fascinating throwback to days of old. Unfortunately, on this trip, the breakfast food was grossly repetitive (same exact food was served four days in a row), there was little to no maid service and on the last night of our stay, the hotel put a bunch of out of control children directly above us, on the second floor. These children were screaming, running, jumping and thudding loudly through our ceiling! We complained twice to the front desk, but we were ultimately told "there was nothing they could do." NOPE...wrong answer! Walk your tails up there and ask the tenants to control their children, just as we were warned and even had to sign a document stating we would control, leash and keep our dogs silent at all times (so as not to disturb other guests). It was just ridiculous...our dog was held to a higher standard than other actual hotel guests! And all we could do was wonder why the hotel staff opted to put so many children directly above us when the hotel seemed to have so few guests and so many other vacant rooms. And now, sadly, we will probably not be returning to The Cody next year because of the all around poor service and lack of consideration and courtesy we received this trip. So, if you want something, newer, cleaner and more service oriented, you should probably look elsewhere.

Absolutely loved everything about this place! The staff was so kind and helpful! The hotel has many different areas to hang out in, such as a small library, a patio with a fire pit, a gym, and a 24 hour pool and hot tub. There were so many other little touches that really made my stay great. I definitely plan on stopping here again next time I'm in the area. Way to go Cody Hotel!
